Fantastic food & beautiful presentation!

Very awesome Sushi

Food always tastes fresh when we visit. They keep the place relatively clean, however, there have been a few instances when we were served dirty silverware and a sticky table. Bathrooms are always clean and stocked and the wait staff are friendly.

I used to work here and i still come in eat quite often, because I genuinely love the food, But every time I come here I get ignored and treated horribly. Today I came in with a friend and sat on hibachi, our food was cold coming off the grill. Just because someone used to work for you doesn’t mean you just treat them horribly. Carbondale location is WAY better.

Everything I've had here is great, form the sushi to the fried rice. Try the plum sake warm.

3 of our 4 orders were incorrect, and they forced a 15% tip even though we didn't meet the party size requirement for required gratuity. Fraudulent, bad service.

It is very good for this area in Southern Illinois. Fresh food and good service.

I absolutely love this place

I was not impressed. We had reservations but were seated 30 minutes late then our dinners weren't started for another 45 minutes. They were very disorganized and the food was not very good either.

Normally this place is really good, got take out from there Friday night, worst sushi we've ever had. Rice and fish were dry. Mayonnaise tasted spoiled. Kroger sushi is better. We'll drive to Paducah from now on. Sad.*Update* Went back to same restaurant over the weekend, and sadly nothing has changed. Not only was sushi dry and bland, they got our order wrong on top of it. We WILL NOT be back. New place in Benton is far better. Cheaper too.

It was amazing my girlfriends and I went they'd never been needless yo say I think they just gained a couple of new fans

Great experience. Hibachi grill was great, show was great. Cook even helped calm a screaming 2 year old.

I had the chicken dinner with rice and vegetables! It was so delicious! And the yum-yum sauce is the best! The show is always excellent too and interactive.

The people sitting next to us found bugs in their noodles. The manager never came out the waitress had to take the bugs to him/her. They were offered 1/2 off their food but they didn't eat hardly anything so they were given there meals for free. We still paid $70 for our bill and didn't hardly touch it. We used to love coming there but will not be back!!

Service wasnt good. Way more expensive than Carbondale. Charge you for double noodles. Barely got any food on my plate.

Love this place the grill is the best

From the time the play started to a year ago there was more than Excellence here. The scenery, food, and service excelled in every way possible... old chefs left, and new ones came. The change was terrible. Steak overcooked, rice not done enough, no seasoning, and to top it off my vegetables are still cold and hard.. it was a shame.

Food can be excellent, but the service is often a little lacking. Spent twenty minutes at a table & couldn’t get anyone to come and take our order — despite asking. Even on a busy night that shouldn’t be too much to ask.

Food was good, sushi was good, our waitress tolerated our crazy table (thank you), and the hibachi was amazing.

We have eaten at Fujiyamas many times over the years. The quality of their food has gone down hill. We ordered a few sushi rolls the other day and discovered that every roll had rotten avocado in it. The rainbow roll had avocado with black spots on top. The California rolls had brown and mushy avocados all throughout. We will choose to get sushi from a different restaurant from now on.

Always get great food and great service here. The chefs are entertaining and talented and servers are pleasant. Food is yummy and there's a lot of it. Go for lunch Monday thru Friday for a lot of food for not a lot of money.

Get the boat it's the best value!

We went here yet again. My favorite place to go when I come to Illinois. Our chef, was absolutely amazing as usual. My brother n law goes so often that before COVID happened he had gone for his birthday & this same chef cooked for us & had apparently went & got my bnl a birthday gift & saved it til he saw him again.

I always get the steak chicken and noodles and it's always good. My daughter gets the sushi and loves it.

I always have a nice meal and good company and great waiter or waitress when I go to Fujiyama.

My 1st visit, they were friendly and nice to us

Mediocre food, drinks were sub par and service at the bar left a lot to be desired. The miso soup and gyoza soup were good. Sushi was tasteless.

Great date night idea. The reggae music didn't fit the atmosphere though

Crab Rangoon were some of the best I've had. The steak hibachi was excellent, meat was so tender. Great job!!

I do NOT recommend the lobster! My family of four mom, dad, brother eight years old, and sister two years old came and had a good time. We have had BETTER hibachi cooks/entertainment but he was trying. Our waiter was kind. I had the deluxe which includes lobster, steak mignon, scallops for $36...I only ate one piece of my lobster. They did give me 10% off of my dinner, but it didn’t take the sting away. I did not take it to go – I gave it back to the waiter to take to the kitchen. My husband tried a piece and felt the same. My son tried a piece and felt the same. Wish I had realized they put lemon on the salmon because my son ordered it. He likes salmon but thought it tasted “funny“. So, just be warned. A good experience with good food but know what you’re ordering and order the right foods that you’ll like.

MICE... We had just finished our sushi and a pair of cute little mice were running around all under the tables. Mice are cute and all but I'd prefer they weren't running freely where I eat

Food was great. Good service. Very attentive despite being very busy. Great experience!!!

I really enjoyed the food, but was disappointed by the service and the hibachi show. The hibachi table my group was at had no entertainment whatsoever. The only thing close to a show was when the cook-top was set on fire for maybe a second. Service would have been fine except for the fact that our server was rushing us out the door. We had only been served our complete meal 15 minutes earlier when our waitress gave us our bills, offered us to-go boxes, and told us to have a good evening. This is a great place for a good meal, but expect little beyond that. I will go there again, but only for takeout.

This is one of the best Hibachi Restaurants I've been to. I travel often and try many this one was awesome.

The sevice was great but the food was disappointing First time at the marion location will not be going back Honestly I think the Chinese restaurant by carbondale mall has better food The fried rice still had hard kernels and the steak was rubbery but the scallops were good
